* Bill has not had any more problems with his head in quite awhile.  (3/29)

* Bill has been doing pretty well with his arm.  He is still in a lot of pain and on short-term disability for the time being, but he is doing physical therapy and seems to be doing well. (3/29)

* I got a job at a different daycare.  They are also located in Fulton, and are paying me well.  Eddie is also able to go here for half price, and they have really worked with me.  I hated to call in last week, but most of it I had to because of Eddie and I being sick.  But they were great about it!  (2/7/09)

* Eddie had his surgery, and all went well.  He is on pain meds, but doesn't really seem to need them!  He gets a little cranky when they wear off! Of course, I think I would too!  (11/22/08)

* I got a job at a daycare!  They are located in Fulton, they are paying me $14 an hour, they are giving me 40 hours a week, they have funds to send me back to school to get my early childhood courses, and Eddie will be able to go there for 1/2 price (maybe even free) when the nursery wing is finished in a month or so! (8/26/08)

* Eddie had his head ultrasound today.  The amount of fluid surrounding his brain is the same.  The ventricles look normal, so all is as it should be.  They will take another ultrasound in a couple of months to make sure that the fluid level is still the same or lessening.  (7/29/08)

* Eddie had his check up this week.  The doctor said that his head is growing at a normal rate, and it is not a worry anymore.  (5/13/08)

* Eddie had his circumcision and hypospadius repaired today.  The surgery was a quick success.  He is still in quite a bit of pain if the pain killers wear off.  We are to give it to him religiously every 4 hours so that he is constantly medicated until Monday when he is to return to the doctor for a check up. (3/12/08)

* Eddie has had his developmental assessment.  He has been given another clean bill of health.  He is developmentally somewhere between his adjusted age of 3 months, which is how old he would have been if he were born in October, and his real age.  They are vey pleased with his progress. (1/29/08)

* We took Eddie to have his heart and lungs checked out because of the defects Laynie had.  His echo came back normal.  There are no signs of any of the defects Layn ie had.  (1/22/08)

* Laynie has been healed, but not the way we hoped.  She has gone to be with Jesus.  She is no longer in pain.  She is no longer sick.  She is finally well and resting in the arms of God. (1/15/08)

* Eddie had his urology appointment.  Everything went well and they expect it to be an easy fix. (12/22/07)

* Laynie's orthopedic consult went well.  Dr. Hornschmeyer said that the curve of both of her legs are symetric and neither seem to be too severe.  Her hips are completely developed and working properly and so are her knees and ankles.  He says he does not need to see her unless there appears to be a problem later as she starts crawling and walking. (11/16/07)

* Eddie's hernia surgery went off without any problems.  He is recovering and doing well. (11/7/07)

* I have been to the eye doctor.  Since my body has changed so much since the babies were born, he said that I may require a different kind of contact lens that will allow more moisture to get to my eyes so that they are not so irritated and dry. (11/5/07)

* Laynie's weight check went well. (11/5/07)

* Laynie is home and doing well!! (10/31/07)

* Eddie's bottom is healed up nicely and has been given Zantac to help with digestion so that he doesn't have as much problems pooping. (10/15/07)

* Eddie choked today on our way to Mexico.  I heard a gagging sound and then I didn't hear anything.  I pulled over to see if he was okay.  He was not responsive.  I pulled him out of his car seat and started to hit him on the back.  This only took a matter of seconds, but I prayed the whole time that God would save my baby.  I wasn't sure would remember how to do CPR on him.  About that time a Highway Patrol car pulled up to see what was going on.  Just then, Eddie coughed and started breathing.  The Highway Patrolmen stayed with us for a few minutes to make sure everything was okay.  I just thank God that if I wasn't able to get Eddie breathing again, he was prepared and had the patrolmen there just in case. (10/5/07)

* Eddie and Laynie are receiveing Medicaid.  This will pay for anything that the insurance companies will not. (9/27/07)

* Eddie had is orthopedic consult today.  His legs and feet are normal. (9/24/07)

* Eddie had his check up with the urologist today.  He said that he did not feel a hernia.  There could be one there, but it is hard to tell at this point. (9/21/07)

* Eddie had his eye exam today.  It was hard for me to help hold him down while they poked at and wiggled his eyes around, but it was nice to be able to console him.  The vessels in his eyes were attached to the retina now.  He will  not need any more check ups until he is 3. (9/21/07)

* Laynie's swallow study came back.  Everything is normal.  She just needs more practice at using bottle. (9/19/07)

* We are starting to get a schedule going at home. (9/18/07)

* Laynie's eye exam went well.  Everything is on schedule and growing correctly. (9/18/07)
